Rainwater Harvesting Tanks

Dome Rainwater Harvesting Tanks help balance supply and demand for sustainable water use. Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) is the most traditional and sustainable method, easily used for potable and non-potable purposes in both residential and commercial buildings. With low installation and maintenance costs, the system is efficient and economical.

Rainwater Harvesting Tanks

Water is considered a finite, naturally available free resource. Demand for usable water increases as population grows. Dome Rainwater Harvesting Tanks help balance supply and demand for sustainable water use.

The Dome Permanent Formwork system, made from recycled plastics with adjustable height for sustainability, is an affordable lightweight construction fill solution that can be used in rainwater storage tanks, storm and flood-water tanks, raised slabs, foundations and landscape fills. It works as a modern water cistern.

Offers speed, simplicity and cost performance to construction stakeholders. Thanks to its 15 cm body design, it can be used at different heights or without feet. Tanks up to 300 cm depth can be built.

Modular, Dome Permanent Formworks can be built in different sizes, shapes and heights — perfectly fitting the rainwater tank design. The tank structure reduces foundation and top plate concrete thickness compared to known systems, providing high ground strength and even load distribution.

Forms are made from recycled PP (polypropylene) — ecological and minimizing carbon footprint. PP's strong, durable structure easily carries the weight of concrete during manufacturing.

Transportation and Storage

Compared to traditional fills like gravel, soil or polystyrene (EPS), it is significantly lighter.

1 truck = 25 m³ soil or gravel

1 truck = 85 m³ EPS (polystyrene)

1 truck = 22 m³ aerated concrete

1 truck = 1100 m³ Dome Permanent Formwork

Forms can be stacked, requiring less storage space on the construction site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rainwater harvesting (RWH) is the collection and storage of rainwater for reuse for both potable and non-potable purposes. Dome rainwater-harvesting tanks are easily used in both residential and commercial buildings and, considering installation and maintenance costs, are effective and economical.
Because the dome permanent-formwork system is modular, it can be built in different sizes, shapes and heights. With its 15 cm body it can be used without feet, and tanks can be built up to 300 cm deep.
Yes. The tank structure provides high ground strength and even load distribution even under heavy, moving vehicles, so the top surface can be put to use as a car park or green area. It works as a modern water cistern.
Yes. The dome permanent formwork is made from recycled PP (polypropylene) and, by allowing less concrete on site, minimises the carbon footprint. Through sustainable water use it helps balance supply and demand.
